Puffy Shoulders

My brother made fun of me in this dress. He grabbed two plastic cups and placed them on his shoulder. He said "now I am fashionista like Delmy" It was funny, but I like my dress. Although it was a bit itchy. I will definitely wear it again. Maybe as a top with a wool A- line black skirt. By the way I now have a structured shoulder black blazer. My mom Added shoulder pads on it. It's not robotic looking, but good enough for me. She's the best!

Dolly

I have always liked fur, but never for me. At least NEVER bright colored furs. I especially loved it on the Dennis Basso Spring 2010 collection. Today I came across a leopard faux fur coat and I was surprised that I actually liked it. I can't wait to wear it. Then I went on a hunt for over the knee boots. Aldo had some pretty sexy ones, but I was trying to look for casual chic, not sexy and painful. HAHA...At least if they're gonna cost that much. See by Chloe has some perfect ones. I am hoping to get them as soon as possible. They were pretty pricey. If you can find some over the knee black casual boot with a chunky heel please let me know! I would highly appreciate it. AKA Brooklyn

Everyone that knows me knows that I love making people over. Cutting hair, the makeup and creating a whole new wardrobe. I love it all. Today I decided to use my niece Kailey as the model. She is only 11 years old, so of course she doesn't wear makeup nor she would go out looking like this. It was all in fun and my sister approved. I made her wash her face 2 seconds after. She was liking it a little too much. I miss her...She's so mature for her age and quite funny.

Sticky like Honey on Bees

Just yesterday I was telling my niece " I'm so glad these damn mosquito's bites are gone" and today I woke up with twelve of them on my legs. They are huge. I am trying not to scratch, but it feels so good when I scratch. haha. By the way have you heard Mariah Carey's single " I want to know what love is"? Foreigner remake. I love it...Brings me so much beautiful memories.

The weather is perfection. I'm spending it with family and today I will be cooking for them.

Simply Amazing

I didn't want to post Spring 2010 collections because every single blog has posted them, but I had to share that I am in love with 3.1 Phillip Lim's collection. The color palette, the metallics, the shoes, and the bags are just perfect for Spring. Some pieces pieces can even be worn in the fall. Definitely some inspiration here.

Lights and Satisfaction

Yes, It's another sequin post. Don't judge me. I have about one sequined piece from 2007, but for some reason this season I have become enamored with sequins. Thursday night I went to Topshop and everything I wanted blinded my eyes. So here's where the pants come in. I had to get them. I know they're not practical, but damnit I will make them. Haha... Also thanks for wishing me well. I am feeling a little bit better. Now im off to get my mani-pedi... XO

My Night Out

OMG crazy day today. First I wake up early at 9am to run some family errands. I got home around 2pm. I was so tired I wanted to nap, but come on! It was Fashion Night Out! Anything for Fashion right? Haha. I ended up going to Topshop, Bloomingdales, Prada. Then I had to sit down. Four inch heels were killing me. So I had a nice outdoor dinner at some place. (Don't remember the name) While my baby and I watched the fashionistas walk by. I love to see their creativity. This is where I get inspiration from! Real People. Oh yea, My baby snatched me up some goodies. Gotta Love New York!

Joy Ride

Have you ever eaten breakfast for dinner? Well, I did. And I do it quite often. I had chocolate chip pancakes, sausages and a cheese omelet. I am so stuffed. I feel drunk. Haha. I am so in the bum mode. I wanted to clean up my room today, but I think I am going to leave that for tomorrow. Anyway, I just received an email from JDORO of this amazing drawing he did of me.
