Floating Vibes

Busy week as always. (I need a vacation) Last night had a chance to have a romantic dinner with my friend Monique. Soon she will be working with me. So excited about that. We call ourselves Delmo since we're constantly having romantic dates. We're thinking about getting T-shirts made with Delmo on them. Yes, we are cheesy and we love it! I'm off to church to now. Too Beautiful for Words

Everything in life changes you in some way. Even the smallest things. If you do not accept these changes, you do not accept yourself. For through these changes brings new and greater things to you, making you wiser, as time progresses.
To avoid these changes is a loss. You only live your life once. Do not waste a minute of it avoiding things. Let them come to you, and learn from them. There's always tomorrow.

Joy Ride

Finally. I have a black bag that I am pretty sure I will destroy soon. I have black bags, but none in the size that fit my world. I am in absolute love with it! If you're interested, you can purchase the Trapped Jina shoulder bag here.
And of course I never leave without a pair of shoes. I was really looking for flats. I am into buying a lot of flats this season, but instead I ended up with this See by Chloe lace up wedge boot. They gave me a nasty blister on my ankle, but I still love them. Just means I'll have to wear higher socks. (wearing them with topshop sweatshirt, american apparel chiffon full length skirt)
Those that know me, know that I am constantly trying to do something new with my hair. I get bored very quickly. One day I want it really short, another day I want it really long or I just want to change of color. Last Friday I came across a picture of a girl with bright red hair. Can't make out who's the girl since it was only a side shot. Anyway, I decided to do a darker version. I was afraid of my hair looking orange. So Tada! I love it! But lets see how long I last with it. Hope you guys love it too!

These last photos were taken a couple of days ago, before the hair color change. Thanks to ModCloth for this En-wrap-ture dress. Fits my body so well! Now I'm on the hunt for wrap dresses. Diane von Furstenberg here I come! (wore it with Kors by Michael Kors suede brown wedges)

Unplanned

So Fashion's Night Out started out with a trip to Nine West for breakfast for bloggers. They allowed us to pick out a pair of shoes for free! Spent almost an hour and a half trying to make a decision.

I loved her Radcliff laced up boots. They're available for pre-order now.
I ended going for the Cooper round toed ankle bootie.

Dun, dun, dun. The night falls and it is CROWDED. It was impossible to shop.
I had plans to go to Madewell to shop pieces from Alexa Chung's collaboration, but that meant I had to stand in a long line. No, no, no and kept walking. Everywhere was a stampede. Full of sloppy drunk people. I did have a great night though. Spotted Brad from Rachel Zoe's project and Erin Wasson. She is gorgeous!

So while everyone wore sequins and 5 inch heels, I wore my comfortable Bloch flats with
a sheer american apparel black blouse and skirt, zara blazer, marc jacobs bag, and a hat that my friend Monique gave to me!

Overall I had a great night. Did I like the craziness? No. But the randomness made it a fun night. You see things happen in movies and you say to yourself " that shit does not happen" Oh but it does.

Had such a great time at the IFB Blogger conference. My friend Monique was sweet enough to be my plus one. Thanks Mo! Everyone was so sweet and made some valuable points. Definitely loved Bryan Boy. He was so funny. By the way I thought it was pretty funny that most bloggers thought I was short. I thought you were able to tell from my photos that I am at least 5'10".
