Asos dress, michael kors shoes, topshop clutch
About a week ago I attended my friends wedding. I was the makeup artist and my little nugget niece Aime was the flower girl. I wore this cape dress by Asos.
But besides that, the wedding was beautiful and she was a vision.
How do you feel about marriage?

I personally am old fashioned and can't wait to get married. people get caught up in the ceremony but it's important to put in the effort afterwards, if it was just paper the nppl wouldn't be in an uproar about certain people being about to marry. I think it's unfair even if you don't agree, I think people who pay taxed should be able to do what they want. I can't wait to get married though, I pretty much everything i want for my wedding.

Marriage is something I dream of. Although at 21 I've only had 2 meaningful relationships 3 if you count the "waste of time". Sometimes though I do wonder if it will only be in my head for me or if I will ever find that special someone. :/

Firstly, amazing dress!
Second, I'm with the most amazing guy at the moment and I could really see ourselves settling down, doing the whole marriage, kids and dog thing. However I'm way too young for all of that so I'm going to enjoy the good times now and worry about all that stuff when I'm a bit older. Its definitely something that I am looking forward to in the future though!

Marriage is a beautiful thing, although lately it's become overated. Couples shouldn't have to get married to prove how they feel about eachother. As long as they have a mutual respect and love toward eachother, that lifelong commitment will follow. Regardless how long it takes.
I know I have it and I'm thankful for it.

I believe it has to do with two people meeting and both wanting and being proud to share the same name and begin their own family together. It's a lifetime commitment with someone through thick and thin, ups and downs and that grand ole' "forever" word.

If a guy ever tells you marriage is only a piece of paper he's a loser and you should drop him asap. My husband never hesitated to share the same last name, in fact he couldn't wait. 5 years later we're still together, live in a nice cozy house with 2 beautiful children. Don't worry about 'todays time' or what other people may say.

While a small portion of females are brainwashed into believing marriage is just a piece of paper, there's a bigger portion who are blessed to have that bf WANTING to give his significant other that one special day she's always dreamed of. I mean, aren't you worth it? I'm glad I was! Who doesn't want to have their livingroom filled with wedding pics hanging on the wall? Its the ONLY way. All that marriage is a paper talk is nothing but EXCUSES! Every girl should experience that one day she always dreamed of!
Although I don't really like I'm gonna get marriage (for me it's only a paper) I do like weddings. Weird, I know. You look stunning in that outfit, really smart.

I have followed you blog for quite a while. I love your style. Regarding your question about marriage: I got married a year and a half ago. We are both young (25 yrs. old) and although is hard ... we love it ... we do a lot of things together but at the same time we give time to each other to hangout with our friends. In my opinion, once you find the right person it all works out. To me marriage was a dream, and it became true. I am thankful I found someone that share the same dreams I do, to be together until we are wrinkly and old. (kind of like the movie "UP" but with kids hopefully one day).

As for marriage - I have been married for nearly 30 years. Without that "piece of paper" I would not be married. Marriage is not be taken lightly as the vows that gave us the privilege of the piece of paper is what really count. It is a reminder of the promises I made in front of God and our family. The piece of paper has given me a sense of responsibility to those I love - including my husband - even when it is not "fun" to be in the relationship. I think the marriage has made me a better person, a stronger person, and a more reliable person to those around me. There are those that renew their wedding vows - and we have considered it - however now that we REALLY KNOW what those words mean when applied, I don't think we could get through them without breaking down into a bundle of emotions. We decided we meant it the first time and our daily commitment to each other is the proof - even in times of trouble. Do not enter marriage if you aren't willing to give 100% of yourself without expectation of anything back. This is what happens in a lasting, committed, adult relationship. At least in my experience.
