Culottes for Fall

These culottes have been such favorite in my wardrobe. I'm sure you have seen them in a lot of posts, and you will see them in many more. They're so versatile and a must have for Fall. I can wear them with a crop top, an off shoulder top, or a basic tee for Summer, then switch it up for Winter with a turtleneck and knee high boots. The possibilities are endless.

Wearing two of my birthday presents here, Anthropologie pinstripe jacket, a must have, and my Stuart Weitzman burgundy loafers, which I love! They were perfect for walking and running after Gavin at Grounds for Sculpture. It's the perfect place for a family day/night out or date night. While visiting my Mom, I made a little stop to shoot my outfit.

I think I spent all Summer in flats so it was a bit weird to be in heels. I felt like I couldn't walk in them, gotta get my step back.

Now on a more serious note. Lately, I have been trying to stay away from watching the news, but it's kind of inevitable with social media. Everyday it's something new. From DACA, the Hurricanes, the poor girl, Emely Peguero that was murdered in Dominican Republic. It all gets me so depressed.

I just want to say that I am praying for all those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

I see a lot of people on social media making jokes about it and I really don't think it's a laughing matter. Please if you can, do not take any chances and evacuate, especially if you have children. It's not worth risking any lives. I am praying that very little damage is done.
